Born 8/29/1977 started deer hunting at the age of twelve with his father, took an interest in turkey hunting the following year and since then has become obsessed with the wild turkey. I graduated from Pennsylvania college of technology in 1998 with a degree in forestry, entered his first calling contest in 1996 and since then has called in to many contests to recall. Matt has filmed hunts for both of Woodhavens videos, has been featured on several television shows like NWTF's Turkey call on the Outdoor channel as well as the Late Show With David Letterman and Fox and Friends. He is currently Pro Staffing For Woodhaven Custom Calls, Realtree Camouflage, Old Tom Technical turkey gear, Dave Smith Decoys, Bowtech Archery and Nitro Company Ammunition. Matt has called in and placed in more contests than he can recall, the following is a list of his major accomplishments.

Sadler hails from Camden, Alabama, a small town located on the banks of the Alabama River. Growing up in this wildlife rich area has helped Sadler become one of the nation's authorities on turkey hunting and one of the best competitive turkey callers. Sadler is married to his wife of 10 years, Fran, and they have two beautiful children named Will and Anna Leigh.

When he is not in the woods either turkey, deer or duck hunting, his favorite way to make hunting season last all year is competing in turkey calling contest all across the country and editing video from the past hunting season. Sadler has appeared in numerous TV shows and magazine articles in the last few years. Sadler is also an integral part of product design and development for Woodhaven.

One of Sadler's favorite outdoor moments was when he was 13 years old, and he had taken a spring gobbler while hunting by himself. While walking home with that gobbler on his back, a gentleman stopped in his truck to congratulate Sadler, and it was none other than 5 X World Turkey Calling Champion and outdoor icon Ben Rodgers Lee.

Sadler's favorite calls to use from Woodhaven are his Signature Series Mouth Call, a Vision Crystal and his personal favorite the Cherry Real Hen Box.

Doug is from Newnan, Ga., a rather large city about 40 miles south west of Atlanta. Doug is married to his wife Marlo of 22 years. They have two beautiful children, Hunter his son and Sidney his daughter. Doug is the owner of Benefield Automotive, an auto repair center in Hapeville ,Ga. and the owner of Illinois Connection, the premier place to harvest a giant trophy whitetail in Mt. Sterling, Illinois (Brown/Pike County).
As a child Doug spent most of his time in the woods or on the lake tournament fishing with his dad. Doug's dad owned a garage in which he worked at. Doug remembers the first time he met a 65 year old customer of theirs, Benny Jones. Doug, sixteen at the time, accompanied Benny on his first turkey hunt. Doug stated, "that from that moment on after experiencing his first encounter with a wild spring gobbler he never tournament fished again". For the next few years Doug walked around his dad's shop blowing turkey calls driving everyone crazy. Doug's obsession with turkey calling has led him to be one of the top turkey callers in the World. Having had his own TV show called Turkey Tales, Doug, has been involved in many other TV appearances or magazine articles making him a notable turkey or whitetail authority.
Two of Doug's most memorable moments was when his son harvested his first turkey at the age of seven. A giant eastern with 1 ½ spurs. He said his son could barely lift the bird. The other most memorable moment was when his daughter harvested her first deer with a muzzle loader at the age of ten. He said while in the ground blind he had to draw a picture in the dirt to explain where to shoot the deer. She made a perfect shot. Doug's favorite calls to use from Woodhaven are his Signature Series mouth calls and a Vision Crystal.
Doug has now been an established competition caller for 18 years. Now being part of the Woodhaven family he intends to increase his odds of winning. To date Doug has won or placed in over 175 calling competitions with the following list representing some of his major accomplishments.

Scott's love for competition turkey calling is only surpassed by his passion to chase wild game. From whitetails to waterfowl, he hunts all over the eastern half of the United States and has been doing so for over 30 years. Ellis' is a Pro Staffer for TruGlo, ThermaCell and a Field Expert for Ol' Tom Technical Turkey Gear.

His go to calls for chasing spring gobblers are the cherry classic crystal, real hen and of course his signature call. His signature series diaphragm consists of three reeds. The top is yellow latex with the second and third being black. This modified split V produces excellent yelps, cutts, cackles, clucks and purrs. It's realism and ease of use finds it's way on stage and in the woods. Ellis, also a published author, loves sharing his turkey hunting knowledge with hunters all over the United States. He resides in Mulberry, Florida with his son Jake and wife Kim.

I am 28 years old. I have a wonderful wife that I married in 2003, and two beautiful daughters. Sarah born in 2006, and Cadence, born in 2008. I have definitely got to give them props for their understanding support of my career, hobbies and ministry. Although living in Wilkes County NC, I am currently living a dream as a career firefighter in Kernersville, NC. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics in 2004.
At the age of 8, I can remember chasing squirrels through the hillsides and mountains of NC. Squirrel hunting stemmed into deer hunting. I harvested my first deer when I was 12 years old, setting beside of my dad in an upside down bus seat in a tree. Deer hunting stemmed into Turkey hunting, where I quickly found myself obsessed! Harvesting my first turkey when I was 16 the obsession grew! I found myself competing in turkey calling contest when I was 18 years old. Due to this passion, I am now pro-staffing with Woodhaven Custom Calls, and I am a field expert with Ol' Tom Technical Turkey Gear. While representing these companies, I have been blessed to win or place in over 60 turkey calling contest including friction and open division championships, as well as owl hooting and gobbling championships.
I am excited to introduce the Mitchell Johnston Signature Series mouth call to the WOODHAVEN line!! This call has given me a lot of success on stage and more importantly, in the woods! I hand make each call. This is a 3 reed bat wing style call that gives you a high clear front end that can drop into some nasty rasp! This call is capable of producing the entire range of wild turkey vocalizations! This call is specifically designed to require a low air volume to produce a great sound!!
My go to friction call in the Woodhaven line is the Aluminum Vision! It can do anything that I need it to do. This call breaks from a high front end to a super nasty rasp in the back end of yelps that for me, is unmatched by any call on the market today!
I am definitely a box call fanatic and my favorite box call is undoubtedly the Real Hen Cherry Box! For me this call has such a sweet and realistic turkey sound that is only matched by a turkey itself! This is also a box call that is unsurpassed in the turkey call market today!!
When looking for locator calls I look for four things: Durability, Sound Quality, Ease of Use and Range of Volume. Definitely characteristics of all Woodhaven Calls! But definitely prominent in the Real Crow!! This call is one that can make the weariest of gobblers sound off in the toughest hunting conditions.

Emily Oliver, age 16, of Crossett, Arkansas has very deep roots at a young age in the hunting and turkey calling world. Her grandfather, Larry Linder, is an accomplished turkey hunter and guide along with being one of the most respected calling contest judges in the country. Emily's mother, Jami Linder, is the only female to ever place in the top 5 of the Grand National's Open Competition. Emily started tagging along hunting and fishing with her grandfather, when she was 7 years old and killed her first turkey at the age 11. She entered her first turkey calling competition at the age of 9.

Terence was introduced to deer and turkey hunting by his father in 1989, when he was four years old. Since then, he has become an avid deer, turkey, and waterfowl hunter. He called in his first turkey calling competition in 1996 and since then, has called in numerous turkey calling contests along with a few duck and goose calling competitions. In 2008, he graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Civil Engineering and married his wife Laura. They now live in a small community west of Tuscaloosa, where he spends all of his spare time hunting, filming hunts, building calls or planning and preparing for upcoming hunts or calling competitions. For the past two seasons, he has filmed and guided for hunts that aired in television shows on The Outdoor Channel and The Sportsman Channel and is currently filming for an upcoming show on The Pursuit Channel. He is currently pro-staffing for Woodhaven Custom Calls, Ol' Tom Technical Turkey Gear, Mossy Oak Brand Camouflage, Dave Smith Decoys, and Indian Creek Shooting Systems. Jason Isabelle, originally from Pittsford, Vermont, began turkey hunting with his father at the age of 9 and it has without a doubt become one of his greatest passions. He is also an avid white-tailed deer hunter and has enjoyed hunting both species in a number of states throughout the northeast and the Midwest, as well as in Texas where he currently lives.

Jason began competing in turkey calling contests in 2007 and in his 3 years of competition has won or placed in over 20 calling contests.

Jason is currently pro-staffing for Woodhaven Custom Calls and Ol' Tom Technical Turkey Gear.

Along with turkey hunting and competing in turkey calling contests, Jason also has the privilege of being able to work with wild turkeys on a daily basis. He is currently a Wildlife Biology student at Stephen F. Austin State University in east Texas, where he is conducting wild turkey research for his Master's Degree.

Jason's favorite mouth call in the Woodhaven line is the GrayGhost Cutter because of its versatility in the turkey woods. From high-pitched kee-kees, to subtle clucks and purrs, this call does it all and is Jason's #1 choice when heading to the woods during both the spring and fall turkey seasons.

The Vision Crystal is by far Jason's go-to friction call. The aggressive cutts and raspy yelps that this call is capable of producing are unbelievably realistic, making it Jason's #1 friction choice both on the stage and in the woods.

When Jason reaches into his vest for a box call, The Real Hen - cherry, has always been his favorite. The cutts and yelps that this box call produces carry extremely well in the field, especially in wide-open country where Jason hunts Rio Grande gobblers. On windy days, this is Jason's go-to call.

Jason's favorite locator call in the Woodhaven line is The Real Crow. The laminated wood that this call is made of produces the most unbelievably realistic crow calls, which are great for striking gobbles well up into the day.

I'm Bobby Woods from Dante, VA I am currently employed by Steel Fab in Abingdon, VA. Steel Fab is an A.S.M.E. Pressure Vessel Co. I have been happily married for eighteen years to my wife Amy. My wife is currently a teacher at Cleveland Elementary in Cleveland, VA. We have three children Joshua, Caleb and Faith. I have turkey hunted for eighteen years and have been involved in turkey calling for thirteen years. My favorite turkey call to use is the Cherry Classic Crystal. During my eighteen years of hunting I have harvested many Eastern turkeys and one Osceola. I enjoy taking children turkey hunting and watching them harvest their first turkey. My two sons Joshua and Caleb have successfully harvest Eastern turkeys in the Spring.

Seth Sturgeon, age 19, of Crossett, Arkansas started hunting and killed his first deer when he was 5 years old. He developed his skills calling turkeys under the direction of his grandfather, Larry Linder. At the age of 11, Seth entered his first turkey calling contest, the Arkansas State Junior Division, and placed 2nd using only his natural voice. The following spring he harvested a turkey, the first of many to follow. Seth developed a love for friction calling and has won many competitions doing just that. With a slate call, striker and many dedicated hours of practice, Seth has captured titles such as Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana State Junior Championships, Arkansas High School Champion, Arkansas State Open Champion, and Arkansas and Texas State Open Friction Champion. Seth has also placed in the Junior and Intermediate Divisions of the Grand National Calling Championships.

My name is Cory Hoone. I began turkey calling when I was about six years old. I picked it up from my Dad who always had the calls lying around the house. When I was seven years old, I appeared on the Jay Leno Show and called in my first NWTF Grand National Junior calling contest. My first NWTF Grand National Junior calling contest I came in sixth place, just 2 points out of fifth place. The following years I have came in 2nd and 3rd several times until 2008 when I won the Junior Division. When I was twelve years old, I was invited to be on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform turkey calls.

I was introduced to hunting at a very early age. My Dad always took me in the fall when he went hunting. I hunted squirrels with my Dad all the time. When I was ten, I was drawn to hunt in the Ohio One Shot Hunt. I killed my first bird on this hunt and got third in the contest. I have killed birds in numerous states including Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. I would say my favorite of these states is Kentucky. The mountain terrain is beautiful and the birds gobble very well.

The main reason I continue in the sport of turkey hunting/calling is for the excitement. Not many other sports give you the excitement to get out of bed at 5 o'clock in the morning. I also enjoy the calling sports because you meet many great people and make friends that will last a lifetime.

Robbyn Day 48 years old, resides in Uvalda, Ga., an active member in Charlotte United Methodist Church.

He is currently employed with the Southern Company @ Plant E.I. Hatch Nuclear facility in operations.

He has a 4 year degree from Brewton Parker College in Business Administration.

Robbyn grew up along the Altamaha, Oconee, and Ocmulgee rivers in south Georgia. He has a passion for hunting whitetail deer ( especially bow hunting in the Midwest) and spring gobblers. He grew up hunting deer, dove, squirrel, duck and quail with his Grandfather and Dad. Has been hunting turkeys for 20 plus years , and competing in turkey calling contests for 3 years. He also enjoys fishing ( especially trot-lining for channel catfish). His favorite go-to call in the friction line is the Vision crystal ( on stage or in the woods). He also likes the Real Hen box calls (either in cherry or walnut) both are awesome calls. In the woods, he also likes to use the Matt VanCise Signature Series mouth call.
