| | Plots are planted and cameras are hung in Kentucky! Come on Sept 4th! We ought to have a pretty good year this year, ole blue tongue still haunts us, but we've been seeing some nice potential shooters the last couple years. I'm interested to see what we have on camera. Down here in Louisiana, we plan on planting in the next week or so. I've had cameras out all summer. There are three on my hit list!

| We're in Butler Co. About 3 years ago one of our guys killed a 193", but since then blue tongue hit and took a toll on a lot of our older bucks. They are slowly but surly starting to come back. Last year we saw several 140s they we decided to let walk so this ought to be a good year.

| | We got our plots planted in Louisiana yesterday. It looks promising. I went in and bushhogged and sprayed the weekend before last and yesterday when we got in there, there were deer tracks everywhere. 3 more weeks. We did not make the trip to Kentucky this past weekend. We thought it was going to to be too hot and we remembered how slow it was last year opening weekend. So we stayed home for the opener of dove season. Here in Louisiana we actually had a little cool front come in that made it very nice for opening day of dove season. I bet it was really nice in Kentucky!

| | 10-4 Scott, in Louisiana I would be very happy with a 120 as well. But in Kentucky, you have potential to kill a stud with just a little bit of patience. The genetics up there are unbelievable. Kentucky is considered a sleeper state. JY
