Hey ya'll I was just wondering if the economy is hurting hunting clubs everywhere? I belong to a hunt club in S.C. that has been around since 1945, we have kids hunting out here that are 3rd and 4th generation hunters on the club. Cooks Mountian Hunt Club has about 5000 acres deer, turkeys, and small game, and we have been having a hard time filling our membership the last 6 years or so. I kind of hope it is the economy and not the lack of interest in hunting. I would like to hear from some of you other hunters to see if this is something that you are seeing out there, and if anyone is looking for a good club in S.C. get in touch with me. Scott Ellis was a member when he lived up here and still comes up to hunt with me, ask him about the club I'm sure he would give a thumbs up to the club.
