I have just began what I hope to be a life long adventure hunting the elusive wild turkey. I would love any input or advice on best calls to start on and how to use calls and when. I do not know very much about turkeys or how to hunt them other than what I have  see on tv, and what I have learned from others who hunt turkey. I would love to find a how to video on turkey hunting/calling. I have been looking but unable to really find anything other than people just killing turkey. Thanks for any help!

Allen,

Great to have you on board. Unfortunately, you are asking a questions that books could be written about.  If you could, just type in the keyword that your looking to find knowledge on, in the search "engine".  You should find a thread covering just about anything you could ask.  If you cant find something specific, feel free to ask away.....Thanks for joining!

Welcome to panel.

Denny Gulvas has some of the best instructional turkey hunting videos ever made.  I have 3 of them and they are lenghty, indept and full of information.  Midwest turkey supply carries them.

the range from the 80's to present but don't let early ones fool ya they are well worth it.

If you live close to Salem, IN i'd let you borrow mine
