| | Do you use the same calls while hunting as you do in competition, and what calls (diaphram and friction)do you use most frequently in both situations. |

| | I'm with Sadler on that one. Although I don't generally run a box on the stage, the results that I've had in the woods with the Real Hen have been incredible. I rely on the Real Hen a great deal when I'm covering lots of ground. I hunt Rio Grande gobblers quite a bit and that box strikes them from remarkable distances. I usually start birds with this call and finish with either the Vision Crystal or a mouth call, depending on whether I'm guiding or hunting myself. Jason |

| | Ditto on the Real Hen box calls! Although mine may not be as good as Sadlers(stick it out the window and a turkey just falls over dead!......LOL) I strike and call up more turkeys with Real Hen box calls(i use a cherry and a walnut and I am using a prototype for the future this year) and all of them have great results. It amazes me how much different pitches effect the turkeys....some will answer one but not another etc... I use calls that I use on stage as well. I will use VISIONS -crystal and aluminum friction calls as well as Real Hen box calls and 2-4 mouth calls(usually just a red wasp or red wing but now i'm using the red zone calls some and some prototypes for the future(testing them)) mike |

| | In a nut shell, I use a little of everything, to include, a real hen, legend glass, cherrry classic crystal and I have a ton of different mouth calls. I rely mostly on my laminated birch Woodhaven tube call, to strike birds when I am "slippin and callin"......... s.e. |
