Hunting Blind users, I need some advice.

I have a new hunting partner this year...my 8 yrs old daughter.  She is a great bench rest shooter and currently learning to shoot off hand. However, one thing i do notice is little ones sure do move a bunch.  We are now a proud owner of a blind.  I did my research and bought one that fits our needs.  Just curious if anyone on here uses them a bunch and had tips (i.e. set up, decoy placement, etc.) that would help.

Soon to be raining feathers here in Indiana,

Adam

2beards,

In my experience there is not really much to tell.  You can pop a blind up anywhere. However, I have never used one in the woods. I have used them in food plot and in fields.  Mostly anywhere there open area.

As far as decoys,  I've always set them up to where it makes them look like they are looking past me.  Because most times a gobbler will circle in front of the decoys presenting his back to you giving you or your daughter the little extra time to raise your gun and/or steady your shoot. Hope this helps.  Happy huntng!

JY

I'd rather be turkey huntin!
