I currently have 2 vests--one that is on its last leg and another one that is too hot for down here in Florida mid-late season.

Anyone have any field reports from using this vest? Likes/Dislikes?

Seat cushion looks big enough to take a nap on. I dont like vests with a bzillion pockets.

Love the limbhanger vest. Has secure pockets for all the gear I need, plus a hydration bladder pocket. The game bag is large enough that I can put a pop-up blind and chair in.

I purchased the limbhanger so I could leave my Bob Dixon vest at home.

I used the Limbhanger vest last year and liked it... unfortunately lost it and pretty much everything I had in a fire.

However, I was pleased with it... simple, comfortable, and functional.

I would make an improvement on it here or there... such as making the friction call pockets completely sealed and waterproof... as well as the box call pocket... but then again I'm one of these that hunts no matter what the weather.  I'm really nit-picking... as it's really a great vest... but I am one of these that is very critical of gear because I know the value of great gear and how it can sometimes truly make a hunt.  Plus... I don't like runnin' the risk of getting a Real Hen or a Vision Crystal wet... if you know what I'm sayin'.  It's not like it gets soaked or anything like that... but it only takes a little moisture to get to wood.

With all that said... if you like a simple vest, then the Limbhanger is for you.  Just enough pockets for the essentials and you can get to everything quickly and quietly.
