Well This hunt took Place on November 18 I believe it was The opening morning of Connecticut Rifle season. Prior to this i Had been Having a Really rough deer season due to Work and yada yada. I went to canada for a week and sat in the stand for 6 straight days. dark to dark. didnt see a deer it was unusually warm...it was very testing.
I then came back to NY for the opener and shot a small buck althought it felt like the biggest buck ever lol. Didnt have a picture of that one to post. 3 days later Went to Conn. It was a Very cold Morning and I had to stand up and few times to get warmed up.
3 does came running down the hill side and then this guy followed. One shot from my 30-30 and he was down. 173 yards my farthest shot i've made on a deer. I shoot the Leverevolution ammo and I swear by it! Anyway here he is.
7 point he had a funky right side prolly due to injury. Not the biggest buck But I'd take him any day.
Talk dirty to em'
