I love the red wasp call and the copperhead 2.
But I am looking for a new call this season. I love a triple reed call with the V cut. but I would like to try some other calls by woodhaven this season. I have trouble doing a kee kee with the copperhead and red wasp. What would be a good call to use that I can do basically anything on?

Well based on the fact you like the redwasp and the copperhead2; my recomendation would be the wings (copperwing, redwing, and yellowwing). However ive learned in the last few years no two callers are alike, with that being said it more or less a trail and error process. Personaly im a huge fan of the copperhead's, and for me the redwing and copperwing are somewhat similar with alittle different range.

                                                                                hope this helps a little

Thanks guys. I looked at the calls and read their descriptions. They all sound like exactly what I am looking for. Im going to the NWTF show in Nashville soon so I will pick some up there.
Thanks again.

Woodhaven has so many excellent calls, it's actually tough to choose one.  As with many other posts, guys will give you their personal favorites.  For me, they are:  Red Wing, Single Wing, and just recently, Yargus II.

You won't go wrong with any of these calls.

Hey Red Wasp! Welcome! I am glad you have had success with our calls and really have your favorites already. I am going to agree with the others....try the Sadler or GrayGhost and any or all of the "wing series"!

Mike

Welcome to the forum, Red Wasp. I'm in the same boat as you for new Woodhaven mouth calls to add to my arsenal this year. I'm also looking at some of the similar calls namely the Sadler Sig., copperheads, Yargus and also the Crabtree. Can't wait to try them out.

The RedWing was my go to call during the spring of 2009. Easy to play and was not overkill on the rasp.

For the XXX nasty talk, the Copperhead II was the ticket.
