| This post is for any member, Woodhaven staff, etc. I'm in the market for a rangefinder. I have been doing my research, reading product reviews, etc. I have even gone to Gander Mountain and tried out of few of the main brands out there. I do like the Nikon rangefinders out of the Leupold, Leica, and Bushnell that I played around with. I like the ease of use with the Nikons. I have also noticed all of the rangefinder models with the angle range compensation, true ballistic range, incline/decline compensation etc. So I pose a few questions to any of you (that use any of the above mentioned rangefinders): Is it worth purchasing a rangefinder with angle compensation features vs. one without this feature? Does this feature make that much of a difference in any of your hunting experiences? What do all of you use?
I'm trying to make my purchase count the first time so that I don't have any regrets and be looking for another one down the road. I do intend to try them out again before I make a final purchase.

| | Nikon... hasn't failed me yet. If you have the money to spend it couldn't hurt to have one of these newer model's that take the different angle's, inclines/declines, etc. into consideration... if I didn't have the Nikon I would personally go with the Leupold. Any of the Nikon's should serve you well.

| | Personally...I like the Bushnell series of Rangefinders. But, like stated above, the Leupolds are sweet too!!! |

| I use the Nikon 440. They are great compact rangefinders that have never failed me. I have not used any of the new rangefinders. I would not think it would hurt to get one of the new rangefinders that calculates actual distance if you have the extra cash to spend.
