| You can now harvest three gobblers per year here in VA. Not quite as good as the five that you can take in Alabama, but we are getting their. I don't know why I care, Im lucky to pull the trigger on one! What about the rest of you Gents?

| | We only get two gobblers here in Western NC & there isn't a fall either. When Spring comes around it's 4 or 5 weeks of intense turkey hunting. I normally take a weeks vacation during the first week, then hunt as many evenings as I can & on Saturday's. If I had more vacation time i'd try to hunt out of state a little as well. |

| Greetings to everyone! I hail from the state of Ohio and our set limit is two birds during the spring season and one bird either sex during the fall season. The spring season runs for one month, but the kicker is that you can only hunt until high noon. I have seen it time and time again where myself or others in our hunting camp get skunked during legal hours and go driving around and see gobblers out and about later in the afternoon.
Anyways, I agree with everyone else that has commented on being lucky at a crack at one filled tag. My wife doesn't understand the reasoning for getting more than one bird in a season, but she also doesn't understand the obsession that takes over a turkey hunter during season ( I know I'm not alone on this one ). Believe me, I am dying at the opportunity to hunt other states and extend my turkey seasons, just not enough time and commitments to my family and work.

| Michigan = 1 But if our economy gets any worse they are going to have to open a subsistence season. |

| | Only hunt until 1:00 in Illinois. We have a fall season too but I think it is only a 3 bird per year deal. |

| | Hey Roy, Arkansas= Two male turkeys in the spring (one can be a jake). THANK GOD, WE GET TO HUNT ALL DAY!!! In the fall and winter, we can kill one turkey of either sex with a bow any time we are in the deer woods. I'm not real crazy about that regulation because hunters can legally use crossbows here in AR. I am all for the AR Game and Fish restricting the use of crossbows to the handicapped and children under 16. (Just my opinion, don't mean to step on any toes!) But, there ain't nothin' like coming to full draw on an animal and then seeing your fletching disappear in the animals side. Once you do that with a compound, you know where I'm comin' from! We also have a two week fall shotgun season where you are allowed one turkey of either sex. I don't hunt the fall shotgun season because I'm always in a tree with a bow in my hand, although, there were a couple of times this past fall season when I wished I had taken both my shotgun and bow to the tree. I had a couple of big flocks get within shotgun range of me. I may have to try that next year! Therefore, grand total in AR= 4 turkeys. This could be one long beard, one jake, and two hens if you are a "Hillbilly meat hunter, and play your cards right"!

| | 4 in the Spring and we draw for multiple tags in the Fall seasons or you can kill 1 with a bow during any archery only deer segment for the year. I have killed as many as 20 birds in one year in my home state. I hunt Kansas and you can kill 2 there and Ohio is 2 birds in the area I hunt but Ohio is a hunt to noon state and I don't like that.

| | Greetings from the great state of Mississippi, Our season run's from Mar, 15 - May 1st. With our youth season starting Mar. 8 - Mar. 14th. 1 adult gobbler or 1 gobbler with a 6-inch or longer beard per day. 3 per spring season. Exception: For hunters fifteen(15) years of age and younger, one of the 3-bird bag limit (which includes youth hunt and regular spring season combined) may be any gobbler regardless of beard length. We do have a Fall season Oct. 27 - Nov 11 and again Dec. 1 - Dec. 14th, but the only area's that are open are along the West side of the Mississippi River levee...and the chances of hunting any of this land is close to impossible.
