I seems the wasp is a little too big for my palate, so I think Im going to have to do some trimming with it. Th copperhead seems to be pretty easy to use. I was getting clucks and purrs with it in no time. The wasp seems to be more high pitched. I have really had a lot of time with the copperhead II, however I plan on using it today driving around. On a side note, today is opening day here in GA, and of course I have to take national boards this weekend, so because of studying, I haven't even gotten to go scout yet so the early season is going to be a challenge, however I'm up for it! Hopefully going to be getting the real hen cherry soon so that will be another tool in my arsenal.

RE: Mouth call set??

HOW DO YOU LIKE THE TKM PACK? I LIKE TO TAKE MY CALLS WITH ME TO WORK, I RUN THEM ON THE DRIVE TO AND FROM AND IT HELPS ME OUT ALOT. I ALSO BOUGHT THE GET REAL CD FROM WOODHAVEN AND LISTEN TO IT ANY TIME MY WIFE IS NOT IN THE CAR WITH ME. IT HELPS TO LISTEN TO EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO SOUND LIKE. ITS LIKE ANYTHING ELSE, THE MORE YOU WORK ON IT, THE BETTER YOU'LL SOUND.

RE: Mouth call set??

Just ordered the TKM set. Looking forward to getting them and running them. Does anyone have any tips for practicing? I have been recording my slate calls on my computer just to see how it sounds on feedback. Anyone else do that?

RE: Mouth call set??

I am not sure what type call you favor but, I would recommend, all of the new three packs. They are some tried and true classics and some new calls to add in the mix.

S.E.

Mouth call set??

I am fairly new to turkey hunting as last year was my first year in the woods, even though I didn't kill a bird, I became hooked. Since then I bought a few calls, a couple major brand calls and then the NWTF slate call and the Pro V2, and I love them both. I had to throw out the Pro V2 cause, being new, I didn't know how to properly take care of it. When I pulled it out to practice, it looked disgusting. I was looking into getting one of the new sets, in particular the TKM or New Energy. Any opinions/advice on these sets or others?
