My success with deer calls over the years has been sporadic at best, but I have been lucky enough to call in at least one buck every year since I started trying several years ago. Which has been enough success to continue the effort, one more trick in the bag.  Yesterday I recieved my second Woodhaven grunt and loaned it to a buddy who has never had any luck at all with grunts. He had two does come in just before dark and tried the new grunt with immediate results, the buck came in busting brush and looking for trouble. He was a small eight point and the .50 cal did the rest. Add another Woodhaven believer

If you guys haven't tried the Woodhaven grunt it is the best I have tried it is even tuneable enough to not scare of these smaller southeastern bucks and by far the best looking and most durable call I have seen.

sorry for the long post

Ronnie

Right now is the time to be using grunts and rattling in south east Georgia. My new woodhaven grunt scored again! Two eights in two days, I got this one 16.5 inside, long brow tines the rest were short but came out of a 3" palmation to really add character, he weighed in at 170#, which is big for a swamp buck.

I really need to get in this century and get a digital camera. You all need to get a Woodhaven grunt.

Way to go CRACKER! Sounds like you are "on 'em" right now! Don't turn loose. "Get'em while the gettin's good" is what granddaddy used to say.

Glad you like your grunt call.....it does work! I have been building that call for many years now. I'd have to think hard as to when I built the first one but it has been a good one. The LORD has blessed me with some talents and abilities and I hope I use them to produce the best I can for his GLORY.

Mike,
Just wanted to let you know the Woodhaven Classic Grunter worked last Monday here in Ohio. My brother in law Kenyon AKA Booger Woods harvested a 140class 11 pt while using his.

Hello Everyone, My name is Justin and I am new to the forum. I am in need of some information please. My question is this, where can I purchase a Woodhaven Classic Grunt Call? My best friend has one and it is far and away the best sounding grunt I've ever heard. I checked Woodhaven's official site as well as the two it has listed as dealers and have yet to find one. I've got a big Kansas hunt coming up on November 8th through the 16th and I think A great grunt call would really boost my chances for success. Thank you for any info and sorry for such a long first post.

Hey Scott
That original post was from 06, I haven't hunted enough this year to count. Maybe things will slack up some now and I can hit the woods.
Good Luck to all
