What features do you demand in your ultimate duck gun? What are you currently shooting?

RELIABILITY!!!!  DURABILITY!!!!

Those are two biggies for me.  I have been shooting a Benelli SBE II for waterfowl since they came out and have never had any major problems at all.  When I pull the trigger, it goes BANG!!!  I put that gun through a lot and it only gets cleaned once or twice a year and it just keeps on going!!!

It's been dunked, sunk, recovered...it's had it's share of dings and drops as well.  But, so far, it's the best gun I have found for waterfowl.

I agree. Benelli makes something truly special! I use others when the mood strikes me, but something about the feel of their autoloaders in my hands keeps me reaching for mine!

Benelli definately!

Though I shoot a Franchi I-12....just bought it this month, and so far it has been great and cycles extremely fast. Whether I shoot a ton,or not at all...I clean my gun after every hunt.

Please keep us posted on how the Franchi's reliability is through the course of the seasons. I was considering buying one,but heard a bunch of mixed stories on the BenelliUsa Forum.
