jst wondering what you gusy might add about the woodhaven slate, what due you do for maintanance and to you work it up with sand paper? what do you do to get that perfect sound or to ge the perfect sweet spot

If you have a woodhaven call, it should have come with a DVD. Mike does an outstanding job explaining the use and maintance of all the pot calls he makes on that DVD. Infact, I have given a couple of them to new hunting friends simply because they are a wealth of information.

If you don't have the DVD... I'll be more than happy to explain it to you to your satisfaction, I'm sure everyone else on here will as well. Welcome!
