| | Just wondering what people have found to be the best striker for the cherry classic crystal? Wondering if I should get one of the laminated strikers? Thanks for the help. |

| | I like the birch stiker that comes with the call, however I found the laminate oak to sound good with the crystal. |

| | I agree that the Oak Strike Three is good on the Cherry Crystal... but mine seems to run best with the Birch Strike Three (Flared Tip). The Birch Strike Three (Flared Tip) is what Mike is running on the Cherry Crystal in the "Get Real" DVD. I have a few of the Birch Strike Three's... but one of them in particular just stands out above any striker I've ever ran on my Cherry Crystal... it's flat spittin' feathers. However... another Cherry Crystal (special edition) I have sounds best with the Oak Strike Three (Flared Tip) that it was matched with. Depends on the driver mostly... but some calls just like a different striker's. I would have to say that you can't go wrong with any of the Strike Three Striker's in Flared or Straight Tip.

| There are a couple of pegs that work well on my cherry crystal. I think my favorite is actually the purple heart. I don't know if it came with the call or not, but considering the amount of woodhaven's I have, I've got a few pegs to pick from 
The Birch Strike Three is another great all around choice, it sounds good on just about everything. I like the flared tip as it is a bit more forgiving, and I need all the forgiveness I can get! |

| | I purchased the Blackbird Ebony core striker this year, and it sounds unbelieveable on the Cherry Crystal call. It has a real nice rasp and can get really loud. Also, the laminate strikers grab really well when cutting. |
