Well the Sat.Eving was great,moring was just gobbling there not coming to the CALL,were in KY....last night we put 5 gobbles to bed with 13 hens,,were in the blind and the birds are 30 yards in the trees ABOVE us!!!!We left the woods at 9pm,,went to eat and then to bed..up at 445 am and back in the blind at 545 am, birds started gobbling at 627 and al of them are LONGBEARDS!!! I never made a call,my decoy was setting there allnight...at 705 the gobblers were on the move come to the decoy with there back feather like a made dog,,well there ready to kick some butt.Ty my 15 year old nephew was ready with the 835 and the bird are 15 yards from us.I told him to kill it and you know at that range your shooting a rifle,to make it short HE MISSED....well thats huntting!!!!
