| | Im thinking about purchasing the crabtree sig call. What are everyones thought on the call? Im looking for a mellower call with a nice clear yelp, and soft purrs. Is this the call im looking for? Eric |

| | The crabtree is a prophy call. Prophy is all a preference. Personally I love a prophy call whether strait prophy like the crabtree or latex top reed with prophy underneath red wasp. The inverted combo cut paired with the prophy on the crabtree gives you the ability to work the call to get that high nasally clear front end. I can work the right side of the call and have it be all nasally like a young hen. With this being said alot of guys dont like prophy, IMO they tend to overblow a prophy call. The CT is a really good call for me, scale back the air and you should find what you are looking for. |

| If anyone ever asks me which is the best mouth call for purring, I always tell them the Crabtree Sig. It requires very little air, and purrs better than any call I've ever used.

| Eric,
I agree with everyone else, I also can get my best yelps and purrs on the crabtree, Dougs step daughter Sierra will also vouch for the crabtree signature callsdoug called in a 23 pound gobbler in Kentucky last weekend her bird had a 12inch beard and nice sharp one and a quarter inch spurs. we had 2 out of 4 kids harvest birds last weekend, it was awesome Good Hunting Greg |
