| Well, Greg, bow season just opened up this weekend as I'm sure you know, but I haven't had a chance to go yet. I hunt turkey and deer with my family in Carroll County, OH and surrounding areas. I went down today just to scout and set up stand sites, but I will be out in the upcoming weeks. I just bought my first compound bow this summer, a Mathews Drenalin, that I have been saving up for awhile and cannot wait to hopefully harvest a nice Ohio buck. Keep in touch and Go Bucks!!!

| Hunted this past weekend (Oct 19-21). Didn't harvest any deer, but was successful in seeing some deer within bow range. On Saturday, I had two different small bucks approach my stand right after the other. One fed off to the right and the other to the left. The one to my left was spooked and ran right back to my stand. I focused my attention to my left and the field edge above my stand. After about 5 minutes, I saw a shooter buck walking along the above field edge, but I didn't see him long enough to see how big ( also out of range ). The evening hunt was productive. And saw some does out of range on Sunday morning. Overall to me, it was successful hunting weekend. I spent alot of quality time with my father and brother in deer camp. I'll be out next weekend. Greg, hope you're having some success.

| I didn't go out this weekend (spending time with my family). I'll be back at it Nov. 8th-11th in Carroll county. My dad and brother have been hunting a lot in our neck of the woods, but the rut really hasn't seemed to have kicked into full effect yet. Overall, we have been seeing deer, but nothing real significant like the big bucks on the move. It's starting to get cooler, so I'm hoping things begin to rev up.
Has anyone hunting Ohio had the same experience or better? Let me know.
