I've been at it hard all season but haven't been seeing very many mature deer. This guy growled/roared at 3 oclock but stayed in a thicket for an hour and a half. I had the Mathews and the DISC Extreme with me in the tree. He came in to 35 and started to walk away on the angle so I switched out for the DISC. I'm kind of disappointed because he got back on a 40 yard trail and I could've sent a Rage through him but there wasn't time to swtich back. Shot him with the DISC Extreme at 40 yards.

Congrats, Kyle!! That's one fine buck. I had the same problem in Ohio locating a big, mature buck this season. I just bought a Mathews bow this year and haven't had a chance yet to initiate it with smackdown on a deer. I just don't know when I'll have another chance to go out again.
